Mood board for Trailer!
Hello!
After we came up with the idea for our final project, we decided to do a mood board in order to better capture a feel of our trailer. Each member made their own mood board.
Mine:
Alright so I decided to go column by column to help separate each character and vibe I want to portray. In the first column, the top photo is how I imagine the characters to interact. The second photo is an area we want to shoot, being by a park. The last photo is an activity I think it would be fun to shoot.
The second column is the first character and her aesthetic. I based my photos from the early 2000's chick flicks like Mean Girls. This character is very girly and will wear a bunch of pinks and pastels, like the stereotypical popular girl.
The third column is our second character which has more of an alternative style. I based it off Freaky Friday and a bit of a 70's feel. This character will be the famous rebel/alternative girl.
The fourth column is the last character which I described as the nerd. I based this character off The Gilmore Girls, as the main character is very academic and can be described as smart.
The last column really shows the vibe I want to create. Although each character clashes with one another, they somehow fit in and I want to capture the blend with the lighting and props. I also included a picture of a notepad to be the "bucket list" the friends do after one character disappears.
