Color Use
Welcome back! For this post, I want to talk about the color usage in my team's project. I want to dissect the most important scenes, which includes our vastly different characters. My character: Pink. It is going to be pink to match the character's femininity. From the posters, to the markers, even in her outfit, pink is included. Along with other pastel colors, it helps conveys a bright and happy personality. However, when the camera shows her turns in her bed, I want to change the camera filter to a darker, moodier tone that reflects the character's emotions. Tricky, I know and we may not go through with it, but I want to make it work. Anais' character: The room is going to be dark with dark colors to match her dark and grungy character. As mentioned before, Anais usually wears a lot of dark colors, so not an issue there, but her room is not far from the grungy aesthetic.
