Supporting Characters?

No... we don't have any supporting characters. We wanted to focus more on the main three characters, despite the constant joking of including Nicole and Ashley as random people in the background. Instead of supporting characters, we are including props that are significant to the plot and each character's personality.

My character will have girly props. So imagine posters of the most popular boy band, a hot pink phone case, a pen with a pom pom. These are such simple props but they tell the audience a lot of the character's interest and personality. We wanted to find even more detailed props, like a pink and blinged out flip phone, old school boy group posters, etc, but we do not have the money nor time to scourer the Earth for these items. Thankfully, I like some boy groups, like BTS, and they include unique posters within their albums, so I we can use those. I am also pretty creative, so I can make a custom phone case that mimics a girly, sparkly phone case. Yeah, I know I'm the best smh.

Anais' character is a big music lover, similar to my character. So they will have posters of their favorite musicians, which is more alternative and punk music. They would also really enjoy "abnormal" and "grungy" interests, so weird arts and crafts, instruments, funky signs and items hanged on their wall. Luckily, Anais is exactly like her character cause she has exactly the items we are looking for. Simply going into her room, you can feel how alternative and "different" she is compared to my character who's interest are considered more normal.

Mal's character is nerdy. Plain and simple. Books everywhere, stupid, funny stem posters, even a glasses case could tell the audience, "hey this character is really into their academics to the point they think its fun". In the nicest way possible, Mal fits this character. I consider all my friends, and me, as nerds due to their insanely smart brains and stereotypical nerdy interests, and Mal is right there haha. She can use books that are used in her classes, she wears glasses, and her and I have fictional books that we like to read for fun. Yeah nerdyyyyyy.

The props weren't exactly what we wanted, but they were at the same time. We based the characters on us for this specific reason. For silly, goofy Cambridge students who have no idea on how to make a film, I think we are doing okay on the production aspect.
